The key to finding winning products for your dropshipping store is often the result of doing some great research.
Below are 5 free methods you can use to find the best products that would be great to sell in your store:
Contents
Method #1. Edit a site URL to show their best selling products
This is a very easy and quick way to see a list of the best selling products for a specific Shopify store.
At the end of the site URL, just add: /collections/all?sort_by=best-selling
For example: https://janemotorcycles.com/collections/all?sort_by=best-selling

But, just realize that some Shopify stores have disabled this page, so this method won’t work in those situations.
If they have disabled this, then you can click on the little lock icon (next to the URL) and select “Site Settings.” Then you’ll go down to “Java Script” and select “block” using the dropdown arrow.
Now when you go back to their “bestselling page” you’ll be able to see their bestselling products (though they will be blurry).
Method #2. Use Commerce Inspector Browser Extension
Commerce Inspector is a browser extension you can use which basically does the same thing that the method above does. However, Commerce Inspector makes it a little easier since you just need to press a button, and you get some additional insights and information about the Shopify store you’re researching.
Method #3. Visit Amazon Movers & Shakers and Best Sellers
The Amazon Movers & Shakers list contains the products that are getting the most sales in the past 24 hours.

Just keep in mind that not every product on this list will be good for dropshipping. But, it gives you a great indication of the types of products that people are really after and then that can help point you in the right direction towards a winning product you can dropship on your own store.
Similarly you can check out the “Best Sellers” products on Amazon to see what has been selling the best over a longer period of time. Amazon Best Sellers are their most popular products based on sales (and it’s updated hourly).
Method #4. Wish
Wish is the place to go for cheap (and desirable) products.
This is another place to go for getting some great ideas of what to dropship for your store.
The goal would be to try and find products that have sold at least 1,000 items. However, anything with 5,000+ orders would be ideal!

A great trick to search for products with this many orders is to hit “CTRL + F” and then type “000” in the search bar. Hit return or enter and it will highlight all the products that have had at least 1,000 orders.
Method #5. Use the Facebook Search Bar
If you go over to Facebook, you can use the search bar to type in several phrases that will show a bunch of different products. For example, if you type in “get yours now free shipping” in the search bar, here’s what I found:

Here are some more phrases you can type in the search bar to see what different products come up as a result:
- Free Shipping
- Just Pay Shipping
- Click Link
- Limited Supply
- 50% / 60% / 75% Off (or any other percent off)
- Get It Here
- Buy Now
- Get It Now
- Get Yours Now
- Get Yours Here
And then you can click on “Videos” in the menu bar and see just videos the come up for that search term.

Another idea is to type in a product name like “blue light blocking glasses” and see what ideas you get for that.

Then to change it up some more, you can specify that you only want to see posts for this month (or set the parameters for this week or today, etc.)
For example, in the image below I did a search for “glasses free shipping” and changed the date posted to “This Month” (over on the left side-bar).

With this method you can get product ideas but you can also get some really great ideas and inspiration for Facebook ads!
Conclusion
One thing to note about this method is there don’t seem to be as many results showing up as in the past. So it’s possible this method may become less productive over time. But for now, it’s still a great one to use.
So try a few or even all of these methods out to see which ones you like the best and then make a list of the products that stand out as either something you might like to sell, or as inspiration for a type of product you’d like to source.
And if you have any questions about any of these methods, please don’t hesitate to post those in the comments below.
