Today we’re going to take a look at 3 different dropshipping stores that are all making at least a million dollars per year. Each of these stores are using the Shopify platform for their website. And each of these stores are in the Top 300 list for Spotify dropshipping stores.
We’re going to be showing and explaining what they’re doing well, so that you can try the same ideas and techniques on your own store.

STORE#1: The Ninja Beauty
This store is currently ranked #131 on Shopify.
The health and beauty niche continues to be one of the top niches to get into for dropshipping. In face, this niche was listed in out recent “Top 9 Niches for Dropshipping in 2020” article.
This store is using the “Shoptimized” theme for Shopify. This is a great theme (a solid choice). Another really good theme to use is the “Booster” theme. But both of these themes are similar in a lot of ways, so again, either is a great choice to use.

One interesting thing to note is that they have a blog on their store. This is something that a lot of stores don’t do and it’s a really great way to help draw more traffic to your store.
They may even be driving traffic to their blog posts and then re-targeting that traffic to their store (which is very smart and creative).

Good things to note about this store:
- Charging $39 for free shipping (good way to increase average order amount)
- Use social proof on product detail pages (# of products sold in last 72 hours)
- Provide volume discounts (ie. Buy 2 Get 1 Free)
- They use a “shaky” button on the “Add To Cart” button
- Use “Guaranteed Safe Checkout” (this is a must!)

Good things to note about their checkout and payment pages:
- They use checkout badges (standard, but another must have)
- They use a countdown timer
- It’s a pretty standard setup for a dropship store
- The blue color tint on their payment method page helps promote trust

The take-away here is if it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it. Meaning, sometimes it’s best to just go with what’s tried and true and not try to get too fancy with the checkout process.

Then finally I want to talk about their social media pages.
Their Facebook page only has a little over 1,000 likes. Just goes to show you that you can have a very successful dropshipping store without having a super following on Facebook.

On Facebook video ads are the way to go for creating a viral product and that’s what this store is doing a LOT of. In fact, it looks like that’s basically all they’re doing.

And from their video ads it looks like they’re primarily showing make-up related products.
STORE #2: Wikipedeals
This store is currently ranked #201
Kind of a weird name but a nice looking general store. So this isn’t a niche store like the previous example. There is a pretty wide variety of products here.

When looking at their individual product detail page, you can see they’re doing a great job. Their products have really nice descriptions. Again you can see the Guaranteed Safe Checkout below the “Add To Cart” button which helps create trust.

Each of their products have detailed descriptions. They’re using really nice copywriting which isn’t necessarily a hard thing to do, but it can take time to write about the benefits of each of your products.

What’s kind of interesting is that they’re not linking to any social media pages from their online store. It’s certainly not something you have to do and again, it shows you that you can have a million dollar dropshipping business, without a big social media following on sites like Facebook or Instagram.
This store using a ‘slide-cart’ checkout which is a different style compared to the previous store.

They’re using the ‘discounted upsells‘ app which can be a great app to use for increasing the total amount people buy.
So how this works is when people go to checkout, they’ll have the opportunity to “Claim” a special deal on another product (as shown in the photo below).

Finally, they’re also using a conversion pirate script in their checkout process.

I think whether to do something like this is personal choice. People can do great using these and others do great without using them. It certainly can be something to experiment with to see if it works well with your store and the types of customers that purchase from you.
STORE#3 TRENDS.BARGAINS
This store is currently rated #238
This is another nice looking store with a clean style to it. The color scheme helps make it seem trustworthy and interesting.

Their most popular selling product right now is called “Ceramic Glass Coating.”
They’re using a countdown timer with a BIG “Buy Now” button.

Their descriptions have lots of photos and provide lots of benefits at the beginning. Then at the bottom of the description they get into the features.
The description of this product seems to be a little long, but obviously it’s working really well for them.

They’re also using a ‘buy now sticky button’ which you can see always showing up at the bottom of the description page. This can be really helpful especially on mobile when people are scrolling through a description. They can just click on the “buy now” button at any time rather than having to scroll back up again.
When you go to buy an item, you’ll notice they’re also using an upsell app. So in this example when you buy the “Ceramic Glass Coating” you’re offered some towels to go with your purchase.

Now what’s interesting is that when you go to checkout, they don’t have their logo anywhere. They just have trust badges up at the top.

If you’re solely doing a dropshipping store, this can be a great idea. It can definitely work really well.
